Biography
Kash Da Masta (Kevin Honeyghan) is the cousin of boxer Lloyd Honeyghan, he came from Birmingham and started out as a radio emcee on Birmingham’s Fresh FM. His first release was called ‘Rock Da Bass’ on First Bass Records in 1988. He then released ‘Quit Holdin Back’ on Big One Records before teaming up with DJ Weet-A-Mix and releasing ‘Take A Fix Of Funk’ in 1990.

A couple of years after his final release as Kash Da Masta, he came back as Kash Rex and put out a single with Welsh outfit Own-Son called ‘Ying Yang’.
