Information
Direkt Action is one of Hamburgs, if not Germanys, first hardcore-rap
crews (and one of the founding crews of the Hamburg Hardcore sound)
they made themselves a big name in Germany and especially North-Germany
with their live-performances. These live-performances and the guest-appearance
on the Readykill MLP in 1993 (track: The Approach) and the legendary
‘Victims Of Western States’ on the ‘Hamburg Hardcore’ sampler in 1994
made the fans want a full Direkt Action album.
Direkt Action started working on a album, titled ‘Born in a lost world’
which was scheduled for the end of 1994 and then got deferred to 1995…and
finally got cancelled. Changing the line up many times, DJ Onslord and
MC Overkill (a.k.a. B-Low) were in the band during its whole existance.
Other members were MC Polo (a.k.a. MC Dynamo - RIP), Syren and later
on also Wrangler (a.k.a. Atmosfear). They went on to form Critcx and
after Atmosfear left the band to form Deichkind with others they went
on under the name Digger Dance.
In 2009 Gato (of Huntah & X-Caliber) started working on the album and
released it in 2010.
