| Biography Def Tex originally formed in 1986 and the original line up was Chrome, Sure Delight & Roxki (R-Key). They first signed with Ten records and toured with De La Soul, BDP, Cash Money & Marvellous and Demon Boyz. Then The Anthropologist joined after originally being part of the Def Tex dance crew '2 True' which lead to the releases on the Soundclash label. After numerous releases they hooked up with Son Records and dropped the ‘Poetic Speech Techniques’ EP in 1998. Their next release, the Synchronise EP, saw them move in another direction and forming a band. They are easily one of the UK's finest. |
