Daddy
Freddy was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and had a few hits there before
moving to the UK and teaming up with Asher D on the Music Of Life label.
First hitting the scene with Asher D with 'Raggamuffin Hip Hop' in 1987,
he went solo in 1990 and dropped the 'Stress' album. He released two
more albums and many 12 inches on Music Of Life and was in the Guinness
Book Of Records as the fastest ever rapper. He is still recording tracks
today with Rawhill along with the Ragga Twins. Although doing a lot
of commercial tracks like Ragga House etc., there is no doubting Daddy
Freddy's emceeing ability. |
