The
B.R.O.T.H.E.R. Movement was a collective of some the most talented
UK Hip Hop artists around in 1989. It was a record to raise awareness
and knowledge of the crisis on Africa called 'Beyond The 16th Parallel'
released on 4th & Broadway. Featured artists were, London Rhyme
Syndicate, Overlord X, London Posse, Cookie Crew, Freshki, Demon Boyz,
Gatecrash, Icepick, She Rockers, Junior San, MC Mello, Standing Ovation,
Trouble And Bass and the legendary Hijack. The B.R.O.T.H.E.R. Movement
went on to release another single in 1992 called 'Ghettogeddon' on
Rebel MC's Tribal Bass label, with mixes on it featuring different
