Styles Of Beyond Central

OK, I know this isn't UK Hip Hop, but, I needed to point this site out to people in case they didn't know about it. It's a website dedicated to Styles Of Beyond, with information, news and most importantly a Multimedia page with loads of downloads on it, you can get the full Razor Tag Mix CD on there, as well as, DJ Cheapshot's new Mix CD's, there's collaborations and demos on there also.

There's also information about the new 'Reseda Beach' album, hopefully it will be dropping very soon.

So get yourself over to there and start downloading.

Websta's Attic Blogspot

Started a blospot to help promote the new album I'm working on, which is a long way off. Going to be posting loads of old demos and other things i've done over the years.

http://webstasattic.blogspot.com

Put up an early EP from 1993 I did when in a group called Mentul Disorda, dodgey stuff believe me.

Suspekt - Dead Men Walking (OUT NOW)

Suspekt's new album 'Dead Men Walking' is OUT NOW.

It has been a long time coming and I am so pleased Lennie let me know it was now available.

Received my copy of the album yesterday (21/8/08), great album, some brilliant production on it and vocally it's quality. Suspekt's longevity in the scene is evident as all emcees drop top notch vocals. The quick, sharp deliveries from Lennie and Pride with his laid back, often ragga style delivery works better than ever on Prime's crisp beats, even Scenes drops vocals on 'F***ers', I think it's him anyway?

The standout tracks for me on this album are 'Mic Murders', which is just superb, one of Suspekt's best in my opinion, 'Stand Strong' featuring a solid return from Blue Eyes, the title track 'Dead Men Walking' which is a strange track as it's kind of mellow with aggressive undertones and 'The Usual Suspekts' featuring Warped Ethics, heard this beat a while ago and it's so good to hear the finished product, it could become an underground classic in my opinion.

The whole album is good, there isn't a track worth skipping on it, for me, it's real hip hop, real beats with genuine rappers dropping on it, a must for anybody who knows their hip hop.

For more information on the album, where to grab it and to hear the promo radio show for the album, including early demos and interviews, pop over to undergroundstrikesback.blogspot.com
